S/MIME - Secure MIME

S/MIME was deployed as an e-mail secrity and
encryption utility extending the MIME standard for multi-purpose mail
extensions (attachements and embedded images in email). The standard
uses publick key crypotograpy to distriubute keys used to protect
message parts and to provide data integrity.
