VMWare

VMWare is a system that supports the running of multiple operating systems (or instances of an operating system) simultaneously on a single piece of computer hardware, presenting the abstraction of a seprate virtual machine to each of the underling guest operating systems.
Key Papers and best academic references VMware is widely used, but there does not seem to be a single authoritiave paper on the system in the traditional academic journals or conferences. Two of the more commonly cited papers that discuss VMware are:
