The Xen Kernel
This site collects references to information about the system
described. It is not an authoritave source.
Xen is a hypervisor supporting a form of virtualization called para-virtualization, the goal of which is to allow up to 100 virtual machines on a current technology server and to allow existing operating sysems to share hardware with safety. The Xen approach avoid binary rewriting for the guest operating systems, but minor changes are made to the underlying OS to improve performance.
